  • 1919 Azusa Street revival in Los Angeles
  • 1924-25 Pentecostal revival meetings Fournier's Ballroom 1st Avenue in Eau Claire
  • 1926 Otis Averill starts pentecostal evangelistic meetings in storefront on the corner of Dewey and Wisconsin Streets
  • 1929 Worship meetings moved to home of Mr. and Mrs. Nichols called Glad Tidings Gospel Mission
  • 1930 James Gibbs becomes pastor
  • 1934 Omaha Street location purchased & building built
  • 1934-1940 Pastor Gibbs passed away, Mrs. Emily Gibbs serves as pastor
  • 1940 O. E. Swanson becomes pastor
  • 1947 Glad Tidings Gospel Mission becomes Eau Claire Assembly of God
  • 1961 Donald Smith becomes pastor
  • 1964 Clifford Nichols becomes pastor
  • 1969 Gerald Christensen becomes pastor
  • 1970 New property purchased 2821 Fairfax Street
  • 1974 First worship experience at Fairfax location. Name changed to Evangel Assembly of God
  • 1982 New building completed at new location of 3906 Kane Road
  • 1986 Ronald Strack becomes pastor
  • 1991 Steven Brandt becomes pastor
  • 2009 Paul Smith becomes pastor
