What We Believe

We as believers can not be contented by inaction or indifference when it comes to the condition of our souls and the souls of those around us. Belief doesn't really mean anything unless it affects the way we live. "Faith by itself - that does nothing - is dead." (James 2:17) We believe in active love. Love that moves us to go out to people who need helping hands, care, and attention. "My children, we should love people not only with words and talk, but by our actions and our caring." (1 John 3:18)

• One sovereign God (1 Corinthians 12:4-6, Mark 1:9-11)
• The Deity of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:15-20 , John 1:1-5 & 10-12, Hebrews 1:1-3)
• Fallenness of man (2 Corinthians 4:3-4, Ephesians 2:1-3, Colossians 1:21-23)
• Empowerment of every follower of Christ (Luke 24: 45-49, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4 & 19:1-7)
• Authority of scriptures (2 Peter 1:19-21, 2 Timothy 3:14-17)
• Baptism before the body (Mathew 7:18-20, Romans 6:1-4)
• Every follower of Christ is a minister (1 Corinthians12:4-6, 1 Corinthians 12:7, Ephesians 2:10, Romans 12:1-2, Mark 16)
• Tithing (Malachi 3:10, Mathew 23:23, 2 Corinthians 8:7)
• Possible salvation from sin for every person (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:4-9, Romans 5:6-8)
• Judgement for sin for every person (1 Corinthians 3:12-15, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelations 20:11-15)
