Life Courses

If you are new to Evangel Church, have recently completed the Alpha Course, or have yet to become involved with a Life Group that best suits you and your family's needs, come check out a Life Course. Life can take us in so many different directions - some planned and some unexpected. The life of faith definitely isn't predictable by any means, but does require vision and planning. When it comes to faith we do not just want to "end up" at unplanned destinations. This is why discipleship and instruction are so vital to our spiritual journey.

Evangel Church is a church of Life Groups. Life Groups are at the heart of who we are as a community of faith. Every person is created for community, first with God and then with one another. Jesus would invite people to leave their lives of isolation in sin and broken relationships and step into forgiveness, hope, and purpose in a context of relationship with him and other people of faith.

Every Wednesday evening at 6:30 and Sunday morning at 9:15 Life Courses are taking place here at Evangel. Their purpose is to serve as an opportunity to develop in our faith and understanding as to what it means to know and follow Jesus. They also can serve as a bridge for people who are new to Evangel to transition into a Life Group. Life Courses range in topic and depth from more intensive studies of the Bible and doctrine, utilizing Global University materials, to more topical life application studies that equally assist in the development of faith, understanding, and lifestyle that are necessary in the life choosing to follow after Jesus.
